I'm basically just restating Andrew's post, but I do think we have a freshman class that catches on pretty well. We're just a train that needs to get moving, but once we're moving, well be flying down the tracks. Let's have a(n) [insert powerful, optimistic, and/or motivational adjective(s) here] year!

you're so pessimistic....you are going to be fine because the coal is your own energetic attitude and can never run out as long as you're determined. The chasm can be avoided as long as you pay attention and turn to go around it in time.
he he! i'm just sitting back waiting for that coal to run out cause i have a feeling it is going to run out pretty soon this year!
but i say that in the most optomistic way possible
yah, I've got a huge stock of coal waiting for me....I'm not going to run out at all this year. I just found out that my scholarships cover all my fees and everything with six hundred dollars a semester to spare. So I get a check for six hundred dollars at the beginning of each semester. How cool is that.
This is not for tara but the crazy one above her. For your information we rock this year!!! AND We are going to continue rocking!!!! We are improving SOOOOOOOOOOO much faster than last year!!! So let me just say shut-up!! Dont even think about judging a band you havent even seen/HEARD!!!! One more thing... DONT MAKE THAT COMMENT WHEN PEOPLE IN THE BAND YOU ARE COMMENTING ON READ WHAT YOU SAY!!!!!!!
I hate coal, but hey, I got enough of it for Christmas as a child....it's not so bad.

I mean I honestly couldn't help it...
can someone really help it if they're completely and totally awesome, intelligent, gorgeous, witty, brilliant....
